Oscar is Buzzing Around Taraji P. Henson

According to recent reports, actress Taraji P. Henson, who has starred in several well known movies throughout her career is currently being praised for her performance in the new Brad Pitt film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. She plays Pitt's character's mother in the movie. Henson is known for her portrayal as Yvette in the critically-acclaimed film, Baby Boy, where she starred along withTyrese Gibson, she also starred in Talk To Me, alongside Don Cheadle, and more recently, she was in the Tyler Perry film, The Family That Preys, starring award-winning actresses Alfre Woodard and Kathy Bates.

Henson was recently asked how she felt about the Oscar talk, and she just brushed it off. She said that she's no stranget to Oscar buzz. Hollywood was talking several years ago about a potential win when Henson portrayed the character Yvette in Baby Boy. So she's not going to get herself worked up over it this time. She says that if it happens, it happens and she will definitely be grateful, but she's leaving it all up to the Man upstairs.

Baller Ray Allen Marries Longtime Girlfriend

Ray Allen of the Boston Celtics married longtime girlfriend, Shannon Walker Williams, in a private ceremony at a private home on Martha's Vineyard this past Saturday. Allen and Williams said their vows in front of close family and friends. Singer Brian McKnight serenaded the couple. The couple has 3 children: Tierra, Ray III, and Walker. About time Ray stepped up to the plate to do the right thing. These two had been together forever and a day already.
