Barack and Hillary: Together, Finally?

President-elect Barack Obama is looking at Sen. Hillary Clinton as one of his choices for Secretary of State. A couple of other names being thrown around for the job are Sen. John Kerry, who lost the 2004 presidential election to George W. Bush, Bill Richardson and Sen. Chuck Hagel. Experts say that there is a BIG possibility that Clinton will be front runner for the gig in Obama's administration.

Many people are having a hard time believing that with everything that those two went through in the primaries, Obama would pick her to work so closely with him. But, who knows? Maybe they have cleared all the dust that was kicked up when they were running against each other for the Democratic ticket.

And another issue is former president, Bill Clinton, Hillary's better-half. Some sources say that it may be hard for the ex-prez to hold his tongue on presidential decisions if Hillary starts working with Obama.

In my opinion, there was definitely a magnitude of mud-slinging when Hillary was fighting for the spot that Obama won. But, on the other hand, when the President-elect won in the primaries and received the Democratic nomination, Hillary did get out there and campaign her butt off for him. There is no doubt about that. She stood tall for Barack all the way to the White House. I have to give her that much. Then again, maybe all that work was to secure her a spot in the cabinet. Who knows?
