Barack Watch! 7/21

Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama is currently in Iraq visiting the U. S. troops and meeting with Iraqi leaders. This is Obama's first on-the-ground-inspection of Iraq since he began his run for President of the United States. (The last time Obama had been over there was in 2006.) Earlier today Obama met with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

When asked about the situation in Iraq, Obama told ABC news that it was time for some of the combat troops to be brought out of Iraq and deployed to Afghanistan. He says that that should be a major focus right now.

ABC News Terry Moran will be interviewing Obama tonight on Nightline at 11:35pm.
